Minor Hockey Association Communication Templates

The SHA has developed a number of communication templates for its member associations to use as they develop strategies and look for more information on certain important topics.

The templates have come from requests from Minor Hockey Associations through SHA Zone Meetings for the SHA to develop tools to assist volunteers within Associations to better educate their members on many facets of the sport.  

The templates are centred on the following topics which can be made into brochures if the Minor Hockey Association wishes, or to simply use them in an email format to members:

- Welcome to the Game Brochure for new parents
- Cost comparison brochure comparing costs of a number of sports and recreational activities
- Long Term Athlete Development Brochure
- Coach Development Brochure
- Coach Clinics for Grassroots Coaches
- Officiating brochure on recruitment and retention of officials
- Officiating brochure on officials’ role within the association structure
- Brochure showing the success of the Moose Jaw Minor Hockey Skill Development Initiative
