Garrett was on the Zone 1 Midget Sask First team last year and unfortunately he was involved in a serious car accident last fall and was hospitalized for 3 months with a serious brain injury. He is currently going through treatment at Wascana Rehab Centre in Regina.  He is currently in a wheel chair, hopefully not for long, but it will be a while. One of his parents stays in Regina weekly at a hostile to be with him while he is here. Weyburn will be hosting a benefit game on Sunday February 19th at 12:00 PM. Several items will be put up for silent and live auction. All of the proceeds from the auctions, 50/50, and gate admission will go towards helping the family with cost. For more info please CLICK HERE
